its friday up in here...

ok so heres the thing...julian has been a huge fan and creator of knock knock jokes lately...from the esoteric and philosophical to the down right weird and hilarious....here are the most recent examples using michael jackson as his template:

j: knock knock

me: whos there?

j: interrupting michael jackson

me: interrupting micha......

j: HEEEHEEE

j:knock knock

me: whos there?

j: interrupting michael jackson

me: interrupt....

j: JAMON!

j: knock knock

me: whos there?

j: interrupting michael jackson

me: interrupt...

j: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

so there you have it...the latest installment in the knock knock saga...hes made these up...on his own and i can tell you he is mighty pleased with himself.

in other news tonight i return to the theatre for the second week of evil dead the musical. jules is heading up with me and has already asked if we need to mix more blood today. while we were in tech he was out of school THE ENTIRE WEEK so he was "working" at the theatre daily. i have yet to decide if this is a good or a bad thing. on the one hand he is getting tons of attention and the ability to use the set and shop areas to paint and play...on the other, he thinks this theatre thing is pretty cool, and loves being in the cat walk. the saving grace in all this is that he keeps saying he wants to be a drummer and a fish expert so his delight you see in the following pictures below should have no real effect on his future in the theatre....right?

in the beginning...

so i have decided to blog...this could be a great thing or a mostly narcissistic and boring undertaking...maybe its all of the above. either way i think it is a great way for me to be able to write on a regular basis and maybe even expand or expound on the daily musings of living with an almost five-year old, running a teeny tiny theatre company and being a wife and working mom...we will see what this brings...either way it should be good for a laugh or two (either at me or with me)...or is it?
